Parking a Call(Park 700 Code, Un-park 701 Code)
You can park a call on a designated line so that another person in your company can pick up the call. The call is active until it is un-parked or the caller hangs up. STEP 1 during an active call, press ‘xfer’ the call is placed on hold dial 700, Enter a number to identify the park line and press dial or # The park line number does not correspond to a physical phone extension number; you can pick any easily remembered number (for example, 100). The call is then parked on that line, and the caller hears music-on-hold or messages. Example 700100# STEP 2 You or another person must then un-park the call. To un-park if you know the park line number: (701) STEP dial 700 enter the number of the park line (for example, 100 the number that was entered in Step 1 of “parking a call.”) Example: 701100# |
